Re: Luxor colored tokens

Funny isn't it? They sit on a trade list for two years, no one cares. One sale on eBay and suddenly they are in demand. vbg Now the secret here is wait another year, they will be dogs again, and you can corner the market!

It is amusing how these things are hit and miss.

There's a chip that has been listed on eBay month after month. Books is $75 and the guy is finally down to $29 + shipping and getting no bids. He must have had a box of them

Another small town roulette, previously unknown until 1998, only five found. Books at $20 because not many people are excited about an old HS roulette.

Now if I put one up on eBay and it gets a bid of $XXX.00 dollars, what's the chance that the next one will all of a sudden be "attractive" and draw bids. (people wonder why some people employ shill bidding and may buy their own items once or twice to make a market price) Or that a chip that has languished on my trade list for five years, will suddenly sprout legs and leave home.

When the last one is gone, and here's the kicker for me, I know someone will write and ask if I have any left!

Just musing and being amused. lol
