In the immortal words of Groucho Marx "Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana." I'm not sure exactly how this would apply here, but it seems like only yesterday that we were conducting Session 2 of Chip Chat's Auction of the Hank Boss Collection of Large and Small Crown Chips. It is now time for Session 3.

In Session 3, we have the remainder of Hank Boss' Nevada collection of T.R. King chips, comprised of large crown and small crown chips from Lake Tahoe and small towns. Auctionmeister Douglas Saito has once again produced an informative, colorful, and insightful catalog of the chips in the auction, including his trademark stories, anecdotes, witticisms, and bad puns. And also, of course, including his
incomparable knowledge of our hobby.

Now, unless you are the proud owner of a color catalog for Session 3 of Chip Chat's Auction of the Hank Boss Collection, the numbers below will appear to be utter gibberish. For those who have purchased the catalog, however, these are the lot number and current high bids in the auction, respectively.

Although I do not know the current status of Mr. Saito's stock of the auction catalogs, I am certain that by now all of you are well aware of what a fine piece of literature it is, that it will appear on any shelf of chip-collecting reference works daring to consider itself complete, and that, frankly, if you don't own it, you are comdemned to an existence of chip collecting naivete.
