Had the most interesting experience yestrday. I found an antique auction in Chicago that actually listed CASINO CHIPS in their newspaper ad. Chris (wife) and I went to the preview and discovered TWO binders and 8 plastic pages full of Casino Chips.

We went back to the auction the following day and were outbid by ONE other Chipper to the tune of a THOUSAND BUCKS for the TWO books full of chips, many obsoltete Nevadas, we didn't go past the THOUSAND BUCKS. Probably should have! The other plastic holders, 160 chips in all, were almost exculsively Puerto Rican Chips:

Caribe Casino
Condado Beach
El Convento Hotel
San Juan Qulaity Royale
Ramada San Juan
La Concha
Hilton Mayaguez
Sands Casino
Palm Hotel & Casino

Many of these are coin centers with die4suits, smallkey, H&C, and other molds. I don't have the ability to scan them ALL right now unless anyone is interesetd. We don't collect Puerto Rico BUT couldn't resist the fun of bidding. Anybody who sees anything from the above list EMAIL me and I'll scan what you're interested in. The chips range in denominations from $1 to $500 and many appear to be pretty old and ALL appear to be in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition!
