No problems with your book or TCR, (or any other) it was just a question to bring up the point that there is some disagreement about some chips.

I see that Gene is of one opinion, you another and Jim P has a slight variation of the two. All the information that people can input should be considered.

I don't really think that we will ever come up with an absolute answer to the Borland fakes, imitations, or made for casino chips that he may have made.

If the club every offers a symposium on the question, (at the convention would be great) it would be interesting to get the various chips together in one place, the various opinions, with evidence, out on the table and see what conclusions might be made.

The large Point that Jimbo made, no matter what chip anyone believes is real or not, is that Borland did huge dammage to the hobby by making these replica's.

Debate in the positive sense can produce beneficial results. So far all of the replies here have been informational, polite and interesting.

Whoever bought the Borland materials, might be able to shed some light from an position of owning the molds, hot stamp dies, and leftover chips. We can assume that anything in like new condition, that was bought from his estate, was made by him.
