Hi everyone! I don't post very often but I read this message board nearly every day. I enjoy the camradarie everyone seems to have on the board, and I've learned a lot of interesting things about chips! I'm finally getting over the Raiders' a**-whoopin' by Tampa Bay, and have put a couple of items on this evening. It had been a few weeks since I visited Bally's Tunica, but I stopped there last Tuesday evening and noticed they've FINALLY put the new 25-cent chips on their $1 craps table! They were intermingled with the original mis-spelled chips and it looked like the old chips outnumbered the new ones by at least 20 to 1. By the way, can anyone tell me what that little spot is on the new chip? It's located to the right of the word "Casino". All the new chips I examined had that same little spot. It appears as if the chip might have had a small stem there that was removed during the making of the chip. Could someone tell me if that theory is correct? If anyone's interested, I'll try to find out more info about the quantity, etc., of the new chips.

In addition, Bally's Tunica has announced they are putting a new set of chips honoring the minor league hockey team the Memphis RiverKings! They are planning to release two different $5 chips and three $1 chips. I plan to collect a set of course.
