Well kids, Im in Las Vegas. I arrived on Saturday and after a limo ride from the airport checked right into the MGM Grand. Then went over to the Palms. For those that never heard of that place, it's a little teeny old run down casino in a not so good area where one shouldnt go late at night. Oh, wait, thats Mahoneys Silver Nugget. I guess that means the Palms would be that awesome casino near the Rio. Anyway,we had the News crew interview Gene Trimble, who was his usual daper self. He did a fantastic job.

Did the strip then tried to hook up with the chippers at 10pm. I ran late and didnt get there until 10:45 and unfortunately missed everyone there at the Flamingo bar.

Sunday... Took a cab to the Cannery and nearly had a damned heart attack when the cab driver broke the news that the fare was $26.10!! Haqd a beer and got chips there and decided to win my cabfare. I won $50 and then took another cab to the Fiesta. I decided to play craps there and get some of the $1.00 royal flush chips. Thats when it happened. I got there andaccidently went to the spot at the left of the shooter, which i would never do on purpose. He shot a couple rolls and sevened out as i got my buy in chips. Thats when it happened. I shot for 50 minutes straight!!!! thats right five-zero!! There were chers and hugs and high 5's . It was a beautiful thing. Got over to the was the Superbowl party at the Harley Davidson cafe 10 minutes before lickoff. I was so busy at the Fiesta that I never placed my bets on the game! ARGHH. I didnt win the Hawaii trip but I did get a t-shirt.
Went to see "O" last night and of course it was excellent.

Today, over to San Remo to meet the executive vice president and to play craps again for the cameras. Of course they could be there filming during my 50 minute roll.

I'll come home tomorrow.
