Re: Gulfport / Biloxi Casinos...Question { NCR }

Just got back from business trip to Biloxi area. Had a hell of a time hitting all the casinos. I would highly recommend flying into New Orleans despite the cost. There are at least four casinos in that area. Harrahs is downtown, Boomtown across the Mississippi River and two on the lake near the small airport. Harrah's is worth going to but I thought Bally's was not that great. Go out I10 and drop down to 90 at Bay St.Louis for another casino. It is about eight blocks off Hwy 90 - very nice place. Further up the highway east is Gulfport (Grand and Copa) If you don't mind a little ratty casino but like .25 roulette then Copa can be fun. I played roulette there for some time for $20. Moving down to Biloxi there are a bunch of nice places there but certainly the Beau Rivage is the best. I stayed at the Imperial Palace for around $49 a night mid week rate. Not bad certainly equal to most Atlantic City places. But for around $100 the Beau is the best place in Biloxi or anywhere in the Gulf Coast. I tried to hit all the casinos in two days besides going to meetings and only missed a couple. Good luck and enjoy the sites the mansions on Hwy 90 from Bay St. Louis to Biloxi are very nice.
