We met at the Flamingo bar as planned and talked some chips and had a few beers. It's great to be able to put faces to the e-mail addresses and postings.

Bob had just flown in and was starting to enjoy himself, Tyrus stopped by before work and used his CC&GTC shirt as a beacon, Larry stayed up past his bedtime to meet us and show us his oversized Paris NCV BlackJack Bonus chips, Sheldon had just finished a whirlwind chip tour of Nevada and discussed his planned move to the Silver state, Gene brought some of his favorite chips all the way from Florida, and Jeff was thrilled to get a new $1 Flamingo chip.

Plans are underway to make the Superbowl Weekend Chip Gathering an annual affair.
