What planet are you on??????? "101% Payback" is an acounting trick used by some casinos to promote their bonus machines. The theory being that by the time the machine pays the bonus amount, the house will have held the money long enough to have made a profit GRATER than 1%, and be able to return 101% of the take for a given bank of a particular bonus pr progressive machine. Put more simply, give me $100.00 dollars today, and at some undetermined futer date I will give you $101.00 back. Slot machines pay the bills, and you don't pay the bills by giving out more than you get. The casino industry is a business, not a philanthropic organization. Six or seven dollars an hour, times 24 hours a day, times 3,000 machines and your losing a half a million dollars a day!!! Some how I don't see Steve Wynn sitting in his office saying to himself "You know, I was only droping a half a million a day with the Mirage.... if I build a couple more joints, I can up that to damn near TWO MILLION!!!"
