There are only 4-5 software programs for chippers that I know of. In my opinion the easiest to use is Checkmate. It does have some shortcomings but I know of no software that does everything for everyone. If you do decide to go with it and scan your chips. Scan only one side when the chip is the same on both sides. This will save you a lot of memory. If you think your collection will exceed 2,000 chips then I suggest you do not scan in your chips, just key in the data. You should look at Ross Poppel's post of 1/16/03.
