Re: Token Book question
In Response To: Token Book question ()

Hi Wilson,

I think Donley's book is a good "work-in-progress". He sends out monthly updates of new additions. (Very handy). It is definitely the most comprehensive list I have seen. Two important (to me) elements not there is a code indicating if the casino is closed, and some sort of reference number for each token. This would be handy as a reference to identify tokens to other collectors.

Another good list are those from Janice O'Neal. Not as comprehensive as Donley's, but does have a reference number, and frequently indicates if a casino/bar is closed or has gone coinless.

I think both are invaluable sources of info.

Neither has scans or photographs of tokens.

If you hear of any other lists, please let me know.

Hope this helps.
Mike
