Here's "something" of the Day: grin

Some call it a chip/check; some a jeton; some a token... and there are even some who call it a plaque because it's oval shape. grin

The term "jeton" is found in the "older" casino supply catalogs from France (who also sold to German and Belgian casinos) describing any small chip-like device (PLAQUES are the larger type; rectangle, oval, square and...). Recently, European manufacturers have been distinguishing between the "American Style" (chips) and French Style (jetons) similar to your plastic material. I think we're safe in doing what our chip guide authors have done in the past... to stick with terms that the manufacturer calls their product. grin
