I was at the Palms just a few months ago and found it very nice. Not only were the people there extrememely nice, the food good (although the sandiches are a too damned big) I thought the place was very clean. I played BJ for a bit and the tables went in bad shape at all. As with all popular casinos, the felt do get worn and then are replaced. Perhaps you were there at the end of the table felt cycle?? Another strange thing...the Palms is pretty sharp when it comes to making a place pleasantly appealing. Are we talking about the Palms in Vegas??
