That is a problem, since in the old days many casinos also used the generic H&C chips in different colors for roulette, and no casino markings. I know where I got mine, but I could put up a picture and no one else would have a clue. Same goes for the generic letter chips.

Unless someone has first hand knowledge, and knows they were picked up from that casino and has documented it, in writing at the time they were obtained, it's hard to confirm where a generic chip actually came from. As we have all seen, word of mouth is good but often carries mis-information.

An old photo would be nice documentation. Say a picture on a postcard, where the chip design could be seen.
