A friend of mine at work was part of a 1950's Las Vegas Publicity Stunt involving Ostrich Races on Fremont Street in the 1950's.
She was one of the racers and she told me she never saved the pictures from when it was in the newspaper. I believe it was sponsored by the Golden Nugget - as she was a cocktail waitress there when she participated in this race.
It was a pretty big stunt - and it would make her year if I came up with a picture or anything from it.
Her name is Carolee - and I hope someone who may have a picture of the race can either email me it or post it here.
