I also didn't get "distinctive clarity" like I do with a better one.

This year we got a Spencer's Gifts here in Prescott and I bought one for $15 that I really like... it runs off batteries and is very bright. Don't even have to darken the room to get decent results.

I like the little ones for bringing to Vegas in June... but John? If that's all you're getting for Christmas... ask the wife to spring for the $10 model!!
