A question please to any computer knowledgable persons reading this post.

I thought I read somewhere that Windows 98 is preferable to XP. Appartenly problems were or are still occurring with the XT system.

I am thinking of getting a newer computer and just inquiring which system to look for.

Also, the age old question---should I just upgrade or buy a new system. I don't need a new monitor, printers or any of the other garbage, just a high speed unit.

Is an "e" computer with Intel good enough for home use?

Any help would be appreciated.
