I saw your Morgan Silver Dollar auctions from the links you posted and was in shock at the prices. Then I thought" Hey, wait a second, I have a bunch of those locked in my hidden locked firebox...I wonder if they are the same years". So...I went and dug them out...which was no easy task. I won't have to worry about crooks finding them, it took me forever to get to them myself! So...I got them out, and low and behold, here are uncirculated Morgan Dollars from 1880 through 1995. Easily 20 of them in coin golders and another 20 or so in stappled plastic coin bags. I looked through them and sure enough they are the same years. The breakdown is about 10-12 form the 1800's and the other 10-12 from from 1900-1925.

The story behind these: When I was a todler living in Philadelphia, many times my grandfather would give both my brother and me a silver dollar when we visited. My mother would then take these silver dollars and and put them away for us. As an adult, my mother mentioned to me that she still had them put away for me. My reply: "they've been safe all of these years here, why don't you just hold on to them for me". There they stayed until 4 years ago when my mother passed away. Since then, I've had them stored away in my firebox, with no clue whatsoever as to their value. We, that is up until now. First thing Monday morning I'm off to the bank to get a saftey deposit box.

Ive decide to keep one for sentimental value, and sell the rest. First, I need to know the most reliable and accurate price guide. I surely dont want to sell these for ridiculously low prices. Im fine at selling them for ridiculously high prices though.
