Archie I am not trying to argue with you and I do understand the concept I just disagree with it and that seems to bother you. You have to understand that some people have a problem with Monopolies. It doesn't matter the reason for these chips or the fact that they are being used as a fundraiser. Undoubtedly the run of these chips will have a secondary market and greed will prevail its ugly head. I do not care for this program and I will not support any person or group of people that condone creating a total control or monopoly over chip releases. How would you like to show up in Vegas at convention time only to find out that the Las Vegas Chapter has cut a deal with the casinos who release CCGTCC chips and you are forced to pay above face for them instead of being able to go to the casinos and pick them up yourself. The precedent being set here is not good for the collectors or the hobby. I realize that the chapter has convinced themselves that they are doing a good thing but I don't have to agree. If they are not open to others opinions then the closed mindedness is sure showing through the Chapter President with his post on the BB. I will bet you that after the chips are released you will see an ad similar to this on E-Bay... Hard to find Taj Mahal AC Limited Release chips. These chips are impossible to get as they could only be obtained through pre-ordering through the AC Chapter of the CCGTCC. I reiterate I am not trying to cause an argument I am just telling you how I feel about monopolies. BTW if you haven't figured it out yet it isn't about the chips at face program either, I could care less about the two bucks give it to the valet when you pick up the order!!!!!
