I am posting this because it is easier than trying to figure out the email addresses of the affected people.

During a computer system switchover the idiots at my bank entered a code in my account which has caused them to not pay my checks. Checks have been returned "REFER TO MAKER" despite the fact that there are sufficient funds in the account. I received no notice of any problem until an Ebay Seller notified me of my bad check. The Bank can not tell me how many checks have been returned because they do not keep track of checks returned "REFER TO MAKER". So I do not know which checks have been returned and which ones just have not been presented yet.

The bank has notified me that they have corrected the error.

If my check is returned to you, please re-deposit, it is good and will be paid. Please email me and tell me what your bank charges are. My bank manager is sending me a letter which he says if presented to your bank will cause them to reverse any bank charges. I will send you a copy of this letter. If this does not take care of it please email me and I will take care if any fees you incur and then take it up with my bank.

Please deposit any checks I have sent as soon as possible, because once all my outstanding checks are paid I will be moving my account.

Now I have to go make sure they didn't cancel my Auto Insurance.
