The opening day of the poker room was December 9th
of 1994. I was at the first poker table the day it openned and was interviewed by both the local
TV station and newspaper. I still have uncirculated 1.00 chips from the first day.
This was what I consider to be the start of my interest in collecting casino chips. I joined the
club a month later at the Florida Coin show with
Janice and Jerry O'neil mannign the club table.
