Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort will again be host for the sixth United States Poker Championship.

The 18-day event begins Decemeber 7th. Buy-ins range from $300 to $7,500, excluding entry fees. Tournament games include Texas hold'em, seven card stud and Omaha high-low.

More than 2,500 players are expected to enter. Tom Gitto, Taj Poker Room Manager said the field grows every year.

"So many more people who can't get to a casino are playing on the Internet. Then they hear about these tournaments and decide to try them. That's why the numbers are increasing," Gitto said.
