I also use an Epson Perfection scanner. I have both PC's and Mac's and it works on both of them. As for getting your colors right it really depends on the program you import to. I have high end graphics programs on my Mac that can get color to the "T". However on my newest PC that I have been using for a month and a half. I have not found the perfect graphics program yet.
