From an earlier thread I stated that the Golden Nugget logo changed to the current logo in 1989.

The image below is from the 1988 Annual report. The report is dated April 12, 1989. This is prior to Golden Nugget, Inc. changing the name to Mirage Resorts and also prior to the Mirage opening. This was the first occurance of the use of this logo that I know of.
