I did somewhat the same thing even though there are a ton of great looking chips to collect. I had a hard time deciding and finally just got the ones that I really liked or had some personal interest. I got the Barris chips because I grew up with the car models and I got the Playboy chip set because I like those "models" also. I am collecting Mississippi River chips because I was originally from Missouri (Roots!) and good looking female chips cause - hell no explanation needed. Make sure you get some chips to trade or it's tough to get started other than purchase. I also agree that there has been some great and generous folks out there that are willing to advise and help so use them.
