I haven't asked and I am always happy to check with the bank. However I suspect that, like a personal cheque, because they are in a foreign currency (for me) and drawn on a foreign bank, then there will be the standard charge of £5.00 (about $8.00) and sometimes a commission as well. Also, can take up to 6 weeks! I have no problem in sending any other CC>CC member goods straight away, but it is the charges that make it difficult, especially as most of my auctions are under $20!

Already, not realising all of this, I have a $6 money order which I can't do anything with as the charges are higher than the total value! Anyone collect uncashed MO's?????

I do take cash along with paypal and, following some previous good advice, AMEX travellers cheques in Sterling. I have never had a package or payment go missing with cash, so for the amounts I deal in that tends to be my preference after paypal!

And now I'm off to my local casino for a birthday meal (another year older..sigh) and maybe some chipping). Night everyone (well, for me anyway)
