I own Hummel figurines. My insurance company said that as long as it's not jewelry, coins, fur or whatever else is specified and as long as they are not unique one-of-a-kind items, they are covered.
Now my chips, for the most part, are nondenominational poker chips. If I sustained a loss, I think I could hire Doug Saito place a monetary value on the lost chips. I've heard that Doug has performed this service in the past.
