I thought that might be the case, but it seems that most VCRs now in the UK can play NTSC tapes (I bought a cheap VCR for my daughter's bedroom and even that can) although it also needs a NTSC compatable TV which mine isn't (the VCR is new, the TV is old). Anyway, offer stands for those of you with a new machine - or can anyone tell me if it's possible to tape PAL to NTSC easily, or at all????
