I don't know if I understand your question and Gene's answer, but there is a Town, Las Vegas and a City Las Vegas, New Mexico. Look at San Miguel County, NM. It's East of Santa Fe

No casino listed as having existed there however. (that I could find) It looks like the closest casino to Las Vegas is in Taos, NM.
