This is probably old news....but I suppose it would count as a variation?

Harrah's Lake Tahoe $5 TCR #N8512 has the Genie on one side, 7 stars on the other side, and stars on the edge.

For whatever it's worth......I was making sure the chip we just picked up was the same as the one we had. I noticed that on one chip the stars on the edge are "right side up" with the Genie side up....on the other chip the edge stars are "right side up" with the 7 stars face up.

too much time?

(Sorry, don't think our scanner would be able to handle scanning the edge of a chip! )
