I just received a stack of old auction catalogs from Al and what a find! There are pictures of chips that I have never seen and probably never will. There are stories that should be reprinted just so the newer collectors can see how the hobby has evolved. Especially the Phil Jensen Collection recovery story (it's the best). The pictures of the old casinos around the State of Nevada. I could go on for pages lawding the contents of just these 7 books. BUT what really blows my mind is the opening bids in thse auctions. Like this one that really caught my eye, Golden Bank Club Reno Yellow C&S $5.00 white inlay with red lettering! This chip had an opening bid of $200! Get this it's one of 5 known!Like I said THANK YOU Al these books are almost as nice as finding a really great chip at a flea market for a dollar.
