My name is David and I'm been a member about...5 months? Anyway, I'm not sure what you are expecting for $20/year, but the magazine alone is worth it. I have 2 so far and wouldn't sell'em for anything less than several chips from The Palms.

These are printed on high quality stock and full of the most detailed information as the articles are written by the membership who naturally has the most knowledge on the subject.

If you go to the clubs website (below) and look around, you will find all kinds of resources. You will also have access to the CCGTCC library as it is restricted to members in good standing. It contains books, videos and magazines...maybe even more I'd have to check again.

At the yearly show you get into special sessions that only members can get into. Things like the dinner, special trading sessions and the POKER tournament...did I mention the POKER tournament?

Very generous members offer contests on this board for chips on a regular basis; however I have yet to see one that is open to non CCGTCC members.

I have done only one Round Robin (RR) so far, but I restricted that to CCGTCC members and will continue to do so.

I am also a budding Geo Cacher and when I do make my own Chip related caches the information will only be given to CCGTCC members.

I think the most important thing you get when you become a member of the CCGTCC is the public recognition that you have made the commitment to hold your dealings with fellow chippers to a high set of moral and ethical standards.
