We visited Deadwood at the beginning of August and did pretty good chip wise. Deadwood Stage is a new casino and Cadillac Jacks opened within the last year. Picked up some chips at Oyster Bay $1 & $5. Miss Kitty's was selling some old $5 chips.
Kevin Costner's Midnight Star found approx 100 $5 chips in the vault that they were selling off. Mineral Palace still had some uncirculated $5 chips from November 2000. The Gold Dust has the $5 Sturgis 2002 chips (tho non uncirculated). You just have to keep asking when you go into those places. Some of the cashiers are really nice and are very helpful. Others are real jerks.
