I discussed the ring with Jim. Jim argued for a larger picture without the ring. Also, he said if the ring was the wrong color it wouldn't match the chip colors. We came up with brown to match the color of the inlay.

It would have been optimal to get a little bit larger inlay. The larger inlay would have added much work to Jim's already busy schedule. I didn't want to push. Jim was very accomodating.
