Pete, I have first-hand knowledge about Paulson...

I have first-hand knowledge of how long it takes Paulson to produce a chip. It has taken me forever to get one made. I wanted to get a fantasy chip featuring the Pontiac Trans Am 30th Anniversary car so that I can offer it to fellow car collectors who have the same car.

I'm sure orders from private individuals are lower in the priority and their main concern is processing orders from casinos. I am going on eight weeks since I sent them the artwork and am told to expect them in a week or two. I don't really want to post too much negative information about the company but needless to say, I am sorry that I choose them to do my chip. Here is a list of problems I have had:

1. Initially took a week to talk to someone about producing a chip. Several voice mails left and no one returned my calls.
2. Submitted artwork via email. Was told the artwork was fine and that it would be a week for their art department to process the artwork. After one week, I inquired on the status and was asked to resubmit the artwork.
3. After another week, I inquired and was told that they had a Hard drive crash and I was asked to email the files again.
4. Was told that my edge spots that I requested were not available to private individuals and I had to pick from a list of standard chip colors and edge spots. They have no web page for viewing samples and I asked for a sheet or samples to choose from. They sent me a fax of type written lines of choices.
5. I volunteered to build them a web page so that out-of-state customers can see actual images to choose from. I was told their website was already being worked on. Weeks later, they still have not made any changes to their one page website.
6. I called them to give them my credit card information for up front payment on my order. Left credit card information via voice mail and sent email containing my billing address. They called me back asking for that info again. Was told that my voice mail was "lost". Then they asked for my billing address again. I indicated that I sent that information via email and was told that was not found also.
7. Finally, after eight weeks, I was told: "Our machine broke down for the inlays and we have about one or two more weeks yet."
