When I started collecting chips about a year ago I asked about chips in various places around town and was told that I should talk to Gary Shepherd, the only other person in town (that I'm aware of) that collects chips. I went by and met him and Gene was one of the people he mentioned as being one of the key people in the hobby, describing Gene as "knowing everything there is to know about illegals".
