Here's What it is - Klez
In Response To: Re: Ditto ()

The W32/Klez computer virus, which infects personal computers by posing as an e-mail message from a known sender, is still running rampant.

W32/Klez spreads by e-mailing itself to recipients in an infected PC's address book. It hides in PCs until it activates itself on the sixth day of each month, when it proceeds to delete program files.

If you get this virus in an email, it's NOT from the name in the from box.

Have a friend who just lost a bunch of files on the 7th? Help them clean out the virus. Also if you get an email that says something to the effect, "run this and protect yourself against Klez virus" don't even open it. It is the virus and it will direct you to install it and bypass your virus protection.
