I picked up another specimen of the Harold Smith Sr #3 $5 chip from Harolds club and it looks to me like another variety. The scan shows the two I'm talking about. The one with the yellowish inlay appears to me to be the oldest. I would speculate the other one on a white inlay is a reorder and the same art was used but was shot at a different brightness when the screen was made. I've shown enlargement of the portrait of each head to clarify. Definitely the same portrait, but the dots in the screen are much larger in one. In addition, the text appears bolder, which would result from making everything darker.
