Goa was a portuguese colony, since yhe arriving to India of the portuguese navigator VASCO DA GAMA (the dicoverer ot the maritim way to India, and the biggest world navigator-I think)in 1498, until 1961, when India occupied the territory.
GOA is now the 25th Indian State( some people stays yet speaking portuguese).Goa was the first and the only state to allow casinos( with serious opposition of religious people).
It begans in 1993, when three gambling rooms (only slots) were allowed in luxury hotels-Chances, Las Vegas at Leela Beach Hotel and The Nugget at Ramada Renaissance.
In the beginning of 2001 a Floating casino was allowed to opperate at Panjin Harbour, with roulette, black jack, rummy, slots etc.
The owner is a joint venture of CASINOS AUSTRIA and an indian company ADVANI.
The casino is called CASINO GOA and the opperations take place on board the newly built CARAVELA ( portuguese name of kind of 1500 portuguese navigator boats-in english CARAVEL)
In 12/31/01 I put this message on the board asking for informations of goa chips, and nobody knew something about.Because Iīm crazy for portuguese and old portuguese colonies chips.
After a LONG and HARD WAY (like Vasco da Gama) I can now show my newest beauties.Portuguese people allways is the first to arrive to India...
