I remember a while back some people on this board trying to get hold of the new English £5 banknote (the one where the numbers can rub off eventually and so were recalled). I don't collect banknotes, but have managed to pick up 2 of these which I'm happy to sell to fellow chippers at face (£5 = $7.80 @ todays rates), or trade for chips - Nevada or English chips especially.
Both notes are shown - the top one has no creases, the bottom one (showing the reverse) has a couple of light creases. I believe it is the serial number under the '£5' in the top right corner on the front that apparently rubs away!
First come first served - No takers after Friday and they go into my wallet with the other notes!
And to answer a question I've had, the marks on the background are as a result of 2-year-old daughter + crayons + 10 seconds out of my sight!!! Who'd have thought crayon doesn't come out of the plastic used to build scanners!
