Desnoyers -- in Tunica

Hi all. My first post here and no real chip content.

I had seen Todd Desnoyers in Tunica before. Once in a poker tournament,he still had lots of chips - while I was busting out. Another time he was pit-bossing the high end blackjack pit. A third time "the hardworking Mr Desnoyers" was sitting box on about the busiest craps table I have ever seen. So I had never gotten to talk with him on previous Tunica visits. This time was different.

We got to spread out our chips and other materials on a temporarily unused poker table at the Horseshoe. This worked fine, but attracted several gawkers. I'm a real newbie to chip collecting and Todd was very helpful in explaining several things to me. He especially showed me that my older Las Vegas chips from the 60's did have some $ value -- I thought they were semi-rubbish. We got to trade some duplicates, etc. I got to meet his lovely wife. He invited me to go on a "chip run" to a local casino that was closing that weekend, but I had to get back to that 10-20 game.

So, thanks Todd. I hope all the other chip collectors I meet over the upcoming months and years are as nice as you are.

Abe
