Good point for discussion....

I was always under the impression that the records we know of (1911-1937; '38 and '39?) were mostly "Special Orders" (we also know that USPC was pressing C&S chips well into the 1940s and as late as '47).

I feel that I can also add to Robert's list of what may be generic pressings... even though huge quantities have not been located: the horse, bison, steer and bird; billiard sticks, numerals, airplane and pineapple festival.
