Some time ago I show some scans of my portuguese mother of pearl, and some guys have asked me if I had dupliccates to sell. I had not at the moment.
I have now find the two chips I show in this message.
They are portuguese, but I canīt say exactly from what casino. The only casino/clug I know with initials AG is Assembleia da Granja. But...
These chips have the value in REIS, the unit before Republic-1910.
I have an exemplar from each in my collection from years ago, and that two are the second I ever saw.
Sizes
hexagonal- 1 Conto de Reis= a million reis
size 7,5cmx7,5cm
rectangular- 100000 (reis) 7,5cmx4,6cm
They have very high values. In that time 1 england gold pound= 4500 reis.
May be someone has comitted suicide when loose that chips at roulette bank.
I will sell that two chips to the best offering OVER $350.
