After raving a few weeks ago about the Slingshot prepaid dialup-Internet service, and how it was likely to be around for a long time, it appears to have gone out of business! I was unable to get connected last week while traveling and the toll-free number on my credit card bill from the last recharge of the account now answers as a non-working number. Their website URL is no longer responsive either.

I'll now have to research the other suggested services that posters on this board talked about to find a replacement.
