Just got back from a 13 casino tour of Atlantic City and Mohegan Sun in CT. My analysis:

AC is for the birds. It's just not a nice place to be. Rude people, both customers and staff, dirty casinos, and not much else. I even had to pay to park.

BEST EXPERIENCE: Harrah's Marina. Excellent dealer there, crowded, but clean and away from the noise of the boardwalk.

WORST EXPERIENCE: Trump Plaza. What a dump. Filthy with terrible service and the air of a place about to go out of business. I actually saw a punter and a dealer arguing about cards so loudly that all the other tables stopped playing to watch. No thanks.

But then, I went to MOHEGAN SUN in Uncasville, CT. What a pleasure. Beautiful immaculate and HUGE casino. I could play there forever. (It doesn't hurt that I won a few hundred bucks there.) The dealers I had were new, but enthusiastic and very pleasant, as were all the staff. I think I've found a new home. If you're thinking of going to AC, take a look at Mohegan Sun instead. I can't overemphasize how nice a place it is.
