Look, I am in no way plugged into the Hard Rock chip network. I am somewhat plugged in to other gossip sourecs there. They've provided me with some INCREDIBLE scoops over the past year, a few picked up by Spin, Rolling Stone, the A.P., etc. But none were chip related.

That said, I heard a story tonight that Mellissa Etheridge complained from on stage SUnday night that after playing the Hard Rock several (I think 3) times, she's yet to get her own chip. Word is they're now talking to her people about issuing one.
