Re: CA collectors please help...

greg, I do have a few of them.I got them at the Indio bingo casino, but this was in the back in a real biulding, the bingo was in a large metal shed, with a small room to the east, conected, where they played french bingo using a bac type layout. poker was played 200+yards to the north. I think the biulding is still there. at the time of the games no playing of 7-stud allowed, probibly the two allowed were lowball and draw, w/ a kicker of high/low which I hated as I remember it was also dealer's choice.
Now the chips were two types, all HS & H/C (1) was a circular name of the chief of a tribe that the dealer said was from down the road a piece like around maybe between Indio and the old ,decharted town of cabazon, more toward cabazon, and they had three oblong circles crossing themselves as a six pointed ? or three stones. (2)were in large block letters and you already know the design.
In cabazon I know of 4 casinos, including the now casino of morongo. But up behind the Wigles Fruit stand there were 2 casinos and one of the buildings did still stand and probibly stands today. note: El (Cid or Sid) and the Sand's located next to the freeway on the south side, torn down.
Greg sorry for getting on a soapbox with this. I dont have thes chips in front of me today. I hope to rewrite you monday/tuesday.
I have no scanner but can copy them and mail it to you. give me a address today please as I'm leaving my house last tonight. I'm at the library using the county's internet, I have none, only email.
