This BB is as much about our everyday lives as it is about our common hobbies. You don't have to apologize for making posts that some people consider to be clutter or unrelated to chip collecting. Everyone has the will and ability to ingore those threads that they feel would be a waste of time for them.

A mohawk'd music journalist, eh? My hair landscape is only fertile around the edges, so I kinda have a reverse mohawk. ...the difference is my reverse mohawk only sticks out if I'm having a bad hair day, or a severe case of hat hair.

I work as a motorsports journalist as a second job. I cover NHRA drag racing for a couple websites, a weekly magazine, and the associated press at certain events. It's kinda like the music biz in that there's always a lot of noise and usually a level of excitement. Klaus Meine was in the media center at the Mile-High Nationals last month with his band as guests of the track. The Scorpions were playing at Red Rocks (just up the road) a couple days later. Not a verbatum quote, but close..."we turn our amps up to 11, and we can't get anywhere near that loud! I gotta talk to my sound engineers about this!"
