That's where we're forever going to differ. Perosnally I believe that if you occupy a nation for years. Treat the citizens like second-class citizens. Bulldoze their homes and give their land to people you import from all over the world based purely on one religion deserving better treatment than another (Muslims who are Israeli citizens have limited rights, occupied arabs have even less) you will breed hatred in the people whose land is being occupied. An occupied people eventually resort to whatever means necessary to lash back at their occupiers. That is an explanation -- not a justification.

But hey, I doubt we'll solve this problem here. I just believe seeing both sides of the issue may help us to one day solve it.
