HI Don! Yes, they have long touted Moose Jaw to have been one of Capone's lay low sites. They have actually built a tourist operation around it, having excavated some of the original underground tunnels and opened them up to tours, etc etc. The casino is part of the health spa they have there, and although it is being done in a roarin 20's theme, it is not tied directly to the tourist outlets. Set to open on September 6, 2002. Am only 37 miles away from there. There was an interesting article last summer where they found a couple of Elderly gentlemen who stated they ran errands for the mobsters when they were up here, and names like Diamond Jum were mentioned. One of the men even stated, that on one special important trip to one of the underground tunnels, he saw Capone himself. No one really knows for sure these days though, but does make for great tourism/stroy telling.
